The Game is the eighth studio album by the British rock band Queen. It was released on June 30, 1980 by EMI Records in the UK and by Elektra Records in the US. The Game features a different sound from its predecessor, Jazz, with a more commercial and accessible style. The album was also the first Queen album to use a synthesizer.

The Game was a critical and commercial success, becoming the only Queen album to reach No. 1 in the US and one of their best-selling albums worldwide. The album spawned several hit singles, including "Another One Bites the Dust", "Crazy Little Thing Called Love", and "Save Me".

The Game is considered to be one of Queen's best albums, and is often praised for its diversity of musical styles and its catchy and memorable songs. The album is also notable for its innovative use of synthesizers, which helped to shape the sound of popular music in the 1980s.
