Singin' the Blues is the first album by American blues guitarist and singer B.B. King, released in 1957 by the Bihari brothers on their Crown budget label. It is a compilation album whose songs were issued between 1951 and 1956 on singles by RPM Records and most had reached the Top 10 on Billboard's Race/R&B singles charts. King continued to perform and record several of the songs throughout his career, such as "Every Day I Have the Blues", "Woke Up This Morning", and "Sweet Little Angel".

The album was a critical and commercial success, reaching number one on the Billboard R&B chart and number 12 on the Billboard 200 chart. It was certified gold by the RIAA in 1962. Rolling Stone ranked the album number 144 on their list of the 500 greatest albums of all time.

Singin' the Blues is considered one of the most important albums in the history of blues music. It helped to introduce King to a wider audience and established him as one of the most important blues guitarists of all time. The album's success helped to pave the way for the popularity of blues music in the 1960s and 1970s.

The album features King's signature guitar playing, as well as his soulful vocals. The songs on the album are all classic blues tunes, and King's performances are passionate and emotional. Singin' the Blues is a must-have for any fan of blues music.
