Their music has been variously described as hard rock, blues rock, and heavy metal, but the band calls it simply "rock and roll". AC/DC have released 17 studio albums, 14 live albums, 4 compilation albums, and 1 box set. They have sold over 200 million albums worldwide, making them one of the best-selling music artists of all time.
AC/DC were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2003.
