The Razors Edge is the twelfth studio album by Australian hard rock band AC/DC, released on September 24, 1990. It was a major comeback for the band, featuring the hits "Thunderstruck" and "Are You Ready", which reached #5 and #16 respectively on Billboard's Mainstream Rock Tracks Chart, and "Moneytalks", which peaked at #23 on the Billboard Hot 100. The album reached #2 on the US Billboard 200 and #4 in the UK, a smash commercial success that returned the band to the popularity of its glory years of the late 1970s and early 1980s.

The album was produced by Bruce Fairbairn, who had previously worked with Bon Jovi and Van Halen. Fairbairn's production style is evident throughout the album, with a polished and refined sound that is more melodic and harmonic than AC/DC's previous albums. The songs are also more lyrically introspective, dealing with themes of love, loss, and redemption.

The album opens with the iconic "Thunderstruck", a powerful rocker that features Angus Young's signature guitar riff and Brian Johnson's soaring vocals. The song was a huge hit, reaching #5 on the Billboard Hot 100 and becoming one of AC/DC's most popular songs.

The album also features the hit singles "Moneytalks" and "Are You Ready". "Moneytalks" is a hard-rocking anthem about the dangers of materialism, while "Are You Ready" is a driving rocker about getting ready to rock and roll.

The album's other tracks are also strong, including the ballads "Sin City" and "The Razors Edge", the rockers "Fire Your Guns" and "Got You by the Balls", and the mid-tempo "Mistress for Christmas".

The Razors Edge is a classic hard rock album that is still as enjoyable to listen to today as it was when it was first released. If you're a fan of AC/DC or hard rock in general, then you need to check out The Razors Edge.
