Psych-Rockers GOLD was formed 1989 after a gig at CBGB’s in NYC. GOLD recorded the Album "Magic Power" released 1991. GOLD played Ecstasy Club Berlin ”Swedish Highlights” with UCP, Barbue Cph in 1991. It is said that GOLD and UCP were pioneers Sweden in creating Detroit steeped power rock in the late eighties.
After a dormancy break of 3 decades creating no stuff together, the original band members; Per Svensson-Vocals&Guitar, Magnus Paulsson-Guitar, Mårten Eriksson-Bass, Johan Bomberg-Drums are back creating their high-energy rock sound, rising again from the ashes like the Phoenix bird. This time with guests Jörgen Wall-Noise, Rasmus Alkestrand-Sitar, Nova Wistedt Bomberg-Backing Vocals.
