Pearl Jam is an American rock band formed in Seattle, Washington, in 1990. One of the key bands in the grunge movement of the early 1990s, Pearl Jam has outsold and outlasted many of its contemporaries and is considered one of the most influential bands from that decade, dubbed "the most popular American rock and roll band of the '90s".
Pearl Jam performed at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta, Georgia on April 3, 1994. This concert was broadcast live on numerous radio stations worldwide and featured songs from their first three albums, including "Ten", "Vs.", and early tracks from "Vitalogy". The show is notable for its energy, with Eddie Vedder's intense vocals and Mike McCready's guitar work highlighted, and for its place in Pearl Jam's history as they were battling TicketMaster and starting work on "Vitalogy".
