Released in April 2020, "Cold Hand Of A Gambling Man" is the eighth studio album by the Australian instrumental heavy psych/stoner/space rock band Frozen Planet....1969. It is a follow-up to their 2018 album "The Heavy Medicinal Grand Exposition."
The album is described as being slightly heavier and darker sounding than "The Heavy Medicinal", yet no less tripped-out. Solid bass and drums form the foundation with plenty of otherworldly guitar experimentation over the top. Tasteful and unexpected tempo and rhythmic shifts throughout the album contribute to the journey.
