For a band clearly influenced by late 60s \/ early 70s sounds, to be surrounded by vintage sixties equipment felt like a dream. As bass player Louis Wiggett recalls: “…the general ‘old school’ approach lent itself to our belief (probably a desire) that we sounded like some obscure noisy pop band who’d recorded one 45 for Immediate, and then one for Deram, and then a final one for Hit-Ton Schallplatten, all within three months in late 1966”.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eHere you’ll find the classic Bronco sound (inventive songwriting, memorable hooks, three-part harmonies, hard guitars…) mixed with cool studio experimentation in the best 60s style (tape phasing, piano strings played with plectrums…).
