The Misfits are an American punk rock band, often recognized as pioneers of the horror punk subgenre, blending punk and other musical influences with horror film themes and imagery. The group was formed in 1977 in Lodi, New Jersey, by vocalist, songwriter, and keyboardist Glenn Danzig.
"Die, Die My Darling" is a 3-song EP/12" single by the Misfits, released in May 1984 on Plan 9 Records. It was the final release from the original lineup, featuring the title track, "We Bite," and "Mommy, Can I Go Out & Kill Tonight?". Recorded in 1981-1982, it is known for its intense, fast-paced horror punk style and iconic, pulp-horror inspired cover art.
