Cold Spring Harbor is the debut studio album by American recording artist Billy Joel, released on November 1, 1971, by Family Productions. The album sold poorly, receiving attention mainly after 1973's Piano Man and later albums became popular, and was reissued in 1983.

The album was recorded at Sound Ideas Studios in New York City in the summer of 1971. Joel was 23 years old at the time, and had recently left his band Attila. He was signed to Family Productions by Artie Ripp, who also produced the album.

Cold Spring Harbor is a soft rock album with a strong classical influence. The album's title track is a slow, acoustic ballad, while "She's Got a Way" is a more upbeat pop song. Other notable tracks include "Everybody Loves You Now," "Why Judy Why," and "Nocturne."

The album was not a commercial success when it was first released. However, it has since been re-evaluated by critics and fans, and is now considered to be one of Joel's best albums. In 2005, it was reissued by Columbia Records with bonus tracks.
