Black Sabbath is a four piece band formed in Birmingham, England in 1968. They were pioneers in the creation of heavy metal and doom. Black Sabbath played hard, blues rock and heavy metal.
Paranoid is the second studio album by the English heavy metal band Black Sabbath. It was released on 18 September 1970 in the United Kingdom by Vertigo Records, and on 7 January 1971 in the United States by Warner Bros. Records.
