Enuff Z'nuff's 1985 is a compilation album featuring material recorded in the band's earliest days. The songs were taken from a demo at the time called Hollywood Squares, originally recorded in 1985. Though released in 1994, it is considered the band's fourth studio album.

Musically, the songs are noticeably more pop rock in direction as opposed to the hard rock recordings they had been known for earlier. The album includes mostly original material, but it also features a cover of Smokey Robinson's "Tears of a Clown" as the opening track.

The album artwork parodies the cover design of Road & Track magazine and features the Ferrari 288 GTO car and the State Farm insurance logo. The liner notes were written by popular American shock jock and longtime fan Howard Stern. His words regarding the band were later reprinted for the band's greatest hits album several years later.
