Frank Zappa - Zappa: Original Soundtrack (Vinyl/Record)

Frank Vincent Zappa was an American composer, guitarist, conductor, filmmaker, actor, activist, and satirist. Some considered him an articulate and intelligent rock musician. Zappa used similar production techniques to the Beatles, including sound collage, varispeed, multiple overdubbing, and guest appearances. However, he never achieved commercial success or a hit single, which some attribute to lack of airplay. 

Zappa (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) is the soundtrack to the 2020 film Zappa, with a score written by John Frizzell. It is the 118th release from Zappa or his Family Trust, released on November 27, 2020. It captures complete versions of every song and performance used in the film including interviews. Discs 1 and 2 capture the soundtrack and Disc 3 captures the score and 4 more tracks from the soundtrack. Songs are mostly by Zappa or his band The Mothers of Invention.
