Local Angel is the fourth solo album by desert rock musician Brant Bjork. It was released on February 23, 2004 through Volcom Entertainment. The album is considered to be Bjork's most intimate and laid-back record, mixing acoustic guitars and simple melodies.
The album was recorded at Rancho de la Luna in Joshua Tree, California, with Bjork playing all of the instruments himself. The album's title track was released as a single and a music video was made for the song.
Local Angel received positive reviews from critics, with many praising Bjork's songwriting and musicianship. The album was a commercial success, reaching number 24 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart.
