James Newell Osterberg Jr., known by his stage name Iggy Pop, is an American singer, songwriter, actor, and radio broadcaster. His onstage antics, including writhing shirtless and cutting himself with glass, became legendary. Some consider him the originator of punk rock. After the Stooges disbanded, Pop released solo albums produced by David Bowie, including The Idiot and Lust for Life, which featured the hit song "The Passenger". 

Skull Ring is the fourteenth studio album by American rock singer Iggy Pop, released in November 2003. Every track on the album features guest performers, such as The Stooges, The Trolls, Green Day, Sum 41, and Peaches.
