Mitochondrial Sun - Mitochondrial Sun (CD)

This album is a solo project by Niklas Sundin, the guitarist of the Swedish metal band Dark Tranquillity.  It was released on February 14, 2020, by Argonauta Records.  The album is largely instrumental and features a variety of influences, including electronica, ambient, and tribal music.  It has been praised by critics for its atmospheric soundscapes and its experimental approach to electronic music.
