Shiva's Headband - The Singles Collection

Shiva's Headband - The Singles Collection is a compilation album by the American psychedelic rock band Shiva's Headband. It was released in 2011 by Omnivore Recordings. The album features all of the band's singles, as well as a live cut and two live studio tracks.

Shiva's Headband was formed in Austin, Texas in 1967. The band consisted of vocalist/guitarist Denny Gerrard, bassist/vocalist Mark Andes, guitarist Michael Fennelly, drummer Bobby Hall, and keyboardist John Till. The band quickly became one of the leading lights of the Austin psychedelic scene. They released their self-titled debut album in 1968, which was followed by The Inner Sounds of Shiva's Headband in 1969.

The band disbanded in 1970, but reunited in 1997. They have since released several albums and toured extensively.

The Singles Collection is a must-have for fans of Shiva's Headband. It features some of the band's best-known songs, including "The Only Time I Know," "My World," and "I'm So Glad." The album is also a great introduction to the band for those who are unfamiliar with their music.
