ZZ Top's First Album is the debut studio album by American rock band ZZ Top. It was produced by Bill Ham, and released on January 16, 1971, on London Records. Establishing ZZ Top's attitude and humor, the album incorporates styles such as blues, boogie, hard rock, and Southern rock influences. Thematically, the album is about personal experiences and sexual innuendos. "(Somebody Else Been) Shakin' Your Tree" was the only single released from the album.

The album was recorded at Robin Hood Studios in Tyler, Texas. The band was joined by engineer Terry Manning, who would go on to work on several of their later albums. The album was a commercial success, reaching number 100 on the Billboard 200 chart. It has since been certified gold by the RIAA.

The album was met with positive reviews from critics. Rolling Stone magazine called it "a solid debut" and praised the band's "tight musicianship and good-time boogie." AllMusic gave the album a four-star rating, calling it "a classic of Texas blues-rock."

ZZ Top's First Album is an important album in the band's discography. It helped to establish their sound and style, and it is a must-have for any fan of blues-rock music.
