It is a tribute album to David Bowie's classic album The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars, released to celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2022.  It features covers of the album's songs by a variety of underground bands, including The Brian Jonestown Massacre, The Wytches, and The Horrors.  The album was released on vinyl and CD by Pale Wizard Records.  It was met with positive reviews from critics, who praised the performances and the variety of styles represented on the album.
