Chuck Jackson's album Encore! is a soul album released in 1963. It is considered to be one of his best albums, and features his signature rich baritone vocals on sophisticated uptown New York soul tracks. The album's biggest hit was "Tell Him I'm Not Home," a stinging tale of romantic rejection.
The album includes other great songs such as "Tomorrow," "King of the Mountain," "Getting Ready for the Heartbreak," "Invisible," and "Go on Yak Yak" (co-written by Jackson and Luther Dixon).
In 2017, WaxTime released a collector's edition of Encore! on 180g vinyl. This edition included four bonus tracks: "The Breaking Point," "Hula Lula," "In Between Tears," and "I Wake up Crying."
