Cactus was the debut album by the hard rock band Cactus, released on July 1, 1970, by Atco Records. The album featured such classic tracks as "Parchman Farm," "You Can't Judge a Book by the Cover," and "Let Me Swim," and established the band as one of the most exciting and innovative groups of the era.

The album was produced by legendary producer and engineer Eddie Kramer. The band's sound was characterized by powerful riffs, driving rhythms, and bluesy vocals. Cactus was a supergroup, featuring members from Vanilla Fudge, The Amboy Dukes, and Mitch Ryder and the Detroit Wheels.

The album was a critical and commercial success, reaching #16 on the Billboard 200 chart and spawning the hit single "Parchman Farm." The album has been praised by critics for its innovative sound and its blend of hard rock, blues, and soul.
