David Bowie's The Next Day Extra EP is a 7-track EP that was released in November 2013 as a bonus disc to the deluxe edition of his 2013 album, The Next Day. The EP features four new studio tracks, a bonus track from the Japanese edition of The Next Day, and two remixes.

The new studio tracks are "Atomica," "The Informer," "Like a Rocket Man," and "Born in a UFO." "Atomica" is a dark and driving track with a heavy electronic sound. "The Informer" is a bluesy rocker with a catchy melody. "Like a Rocket Man" is a cover of Elton John's classic song. "Born in a UFO" is a psychedelic folk song with a spacey vibe.

The bonus track from the Japanese edition of The Next Day is "God Bless the Girl." This track was originally recorded during the sessions for The Next Day, but it was not included on the album's final tracklist.

The two remixes on the EP are "Love Is Lost (Hello Steve Reich Mix by James Murphy for the DFA)" and "I'd Rather Be High (Venetian Mix)." The former is a ten-minute electronic remix of the album track "Love Is Lost" by LCD Soundsystem's James Murphy. The latter is a shorter, more uptempo remix of the album track "I'd Rather Be High."

The Next Day Extra EP was released on CD, vinyl, and digital formats. It was met with positive reviews from critics, who praised the new tracks and remixes. The EP peaked at number 14 on the Billboard 200 chart in the United States.
