The Sound Of Madness is the third studio album by American rock band Shinedown, released on June 24, 2008. The album was a commercial success, reaching number eight on the Billboard 200 chart and selling over two million copies in the United States. It spawned five singles, all of which reached the top 20 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock chart, including the multi-platinum singles "Second Chance" and "Sound of Madness".
