The album was produced by Andrew Wade and features 13 tracks, including the singles "Abigail", "Creatures", and "Immaculate Misconception". It received generally positive reviews from critics, who praised the band's use of synthesizers to create a dark and uneasy atmosphere. Creatures debuted at No. 6 on the Billboard Heatseekers Chart and peaked in the Hard Rock Albums’ Top 20.
