Mother is the seventh studio album by American rock band In This Moment, released on March 27, 2020, by Atlantic Records and Roadrunner Records.
The album was produced by Kevin Churko and Kane Churko. It follows 2017's beloved album Ritual. The album features a darker and heavier sound than its predecessors, and explores themes of motherhood, loss, and empowerment. The lead single, "The In-Between", was released on January 22, 2020. The second single, "Hunting Grounds" featuring Joe Cotela of Ded, was released on February 21, 2020. The third single, "As Above, So Below", was released on March 19, 2020.
The album received generally positive reviews from critics. Some praised the band's experimentation with a darker sound, while others felt that the album was not as strong as its predecessors. However, the album was a commercial success, peaking at number 12 on the Billboard 200 chart.
