The Last Survivors on Planet Earth is the 28th album by Finnish psychedelic and spacey project Astral Magic, released on March 3, 2023. The album was produced by Santtu Laakso, who also plays bass, backing vocals, and Moog on the album. The album features a growing international collaborator group, and the music varies from heavy space rock to progressive psych rock, experimental, cosmic, and electronic music.
The album has a certain apocalyptic theme, but it is not totally without a seed of hope for humanity and our universe. The main point is that most answers are to be found from within ourselves.
The album was released on CD and digital formats. The CD version is a limited-edition digipack.
