Arctic Monkeys' Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Notis their debut studio album, released in January 2006. It became the UK's fastest-selling debut album at the time, selling more than 360,000 copies in its first week. The album includes the hit singles "I Bet You Look Good on the Dancefloor" and "When the Sun Goes Down".

The album is considered a landmark release in British indie rock and has been praised for its sharp wit, energetic sound, and frontman Alex Turner's clever lyrics. It won the Mercury Music Prize in 2006.
