Black Sabbath is a four piece band formed in Birmingham, England in 1968. They were pioneers in the creation of heavy metal and doom. Black Sabbath played hard, blues rock and heavy metal.
Headless Cross is the fourteenth studio album by the English heavy metal band Black Sabbath. Released on 17 April 1989 internationally, and on 7 June in Japan, it was the group's second album to feature singer Tony Martin, the first to feature drummer Cozy Powell, and the only album with session bassist Laurence Cottle.
