Iggy Pop, born James Newell Osterberg Jr. in 1947, is an American singer, songwriter, actor, radio broadcaster, and musician. He's best known as the front-man and lyricist for the proto-punk band The Stooges, formed in 1967. The band has disbanded and reunited multiple times, releasing five albums with Pop. In 1973, Pop released Raw Power with some former Stooges members under the name Iggy and the Stooges.
Zombie Birdhouse is the sixth solo studio album by American rock singer Iggy Pop. It was released in September 1982 by record label Animal.
